Weeks Beginning Sunday 16 June

If you are new to this church you may be interested to know:

• There is a loop system should you need to use this.
• Crèche is provided for babies/toddlers in the hall - you are welcome to make use of this.
• A Sunday Club group is available for pre-schoolers to age 11 in the hall from approx 11.10am. Coffee/tea and biscuits are available in the hall after the service.
• If you would like someone to pray with you after the service, please either ask someone you know and trust to pray with you or move to a seat on the front row where a nominated person will be available. Do not feel too embarrassed to do this. We believe prayer works.

Please look at the Notice Board as new posters and fresh information is constantly displayed. If you see an out-of-date poster, please remove it.

Baptismal Service -We are holding a Baptismal Service on Sunday 14^th July. If you are considering baptism or would like more information, please speak to one of the Deacons.

Lighthouse Great Missenden – 29 July – 2 August – Helpers forms are now available or can be done online. If you can spare a few hours during that week and are interested in helping in any way and would like more information, please see Val Allcorn. Children’s registration forms are available now, but registration is governed by the number of helpers.

Church Anniversary BBQ - Sunday 23^rd June - If you would like to volunteer to help at the BBQ following the morning service please see Mark Coventry.

It would be lovely to have a lasting and tangible memory of the Anniversary so we would like to take a group photograph after the morning service. More details later.

Canon John Eastgate - who was known to many in the Church, died on the  30^th May. Our prayers are with the family.

The Manse - The manse will be open for viewing the new extension on Saturday 22^nd June. (2pm to 4pm). Everyone welcome!

‘Messy Church’ - Starting on Sunday 15^th September (3.30 to 5pm). Continuing on 13^th October, 3^rd November , 8^th December. More details to follow.

ALPHA - We are running an 8 week Alpha Course, beginning Wednesday 2^nd October at 6.30pm. Everyone welcome - more details later!

Evening Services at the Methodist Church – Just as a reminder – there is a general invitation to everyone to the evening service at 6pm on the first Sunday of each month.

Church Members’ Meeting – Date has been changed to 8^th July.

Pastoral Care – If you have a pastoral concern please contact your Pastoral Care leader. There is a list of Pastoral Care Groups in the foyer.

Please let us know if anyone is in need of prayer and would like to be included on the prayer list.  Answered prayer is a great encouragement to us all and it would be lovely to hear of answers to our prayers. Thank you!
